We are excited to engage more deeply with the wide range of teachers, gifts, and offerings in our community. If you are interested in teaching at The 2023 Gaia Gathering, please familiarize yourself with the requirements & commitments and complete the application below.

We ask that you submit 2-3 class proposals and encourage you to weave an aspect of this years theme into your topics. We are looking for workshops that are 1 ½ hours and include topics on herbalism, creative & healing arts, justice & culture, and classes for youth. Each proposal will be reviewed by a committee and you will be notified of the selection outcome. Teachers & workshops will be announced in early Spring. .

APPLICANT INFORMATION:​

Eligibility:

• Must have experience leading classes or workshops through your own service or at other events.

• Must have lived experience and/or education related to the topic of your workshop proposals.

​

Responsibilities:

• Commit to teach your workshop(s) at the scheduled time and attend the full event Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7.

• Provide an updated photo, biography and class description by March 1, 2023

• Provide your own supplies and handouts unless otherwise arranged ahead of the event.

• Familiarize yourself with the language and values of The Gaia Gathering.

Benefits:

• One ticket to the full weekend retreat.

• Honorarium: $100 per 90 minute class.

• Early registration for your children ages 4-16.

• A vendors booth in the Marketplace (optional)

• Camping accommodations and early access to optional indoor lodging (cost is $130)

• Nourishing meals (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch)
