GAIA WORK-TRADE INFORMATION:

Please familiarize yourself with the details before submitting your application. Reach out to us at info.thegaiagathering@gmail.com if you have any questions that are not covered here.

OVERVIEW: All work traders will help with set/up, greeting, and breakdown. During the gathering, each person can expect to work the rough equivalent of  3 shifts.  Most shifts are scheduled in 2 or 3 hour slots. We will do our best to spread out volunteer commitments so each person can still be present for a variety of workshops and experiences at the gathering.

TEAMS: During the gathering Work Traders will serve on one of two main  teams: Kitchen Team and Artemis’ Garden. You will be given the opportunity to indicate your preference in your application, but each team has a limited number of spots, so we can not guarantee you will receive your first choice.

  • Kitchen Team will wash bowls, plates and silverware, put away leftover food, wipe down tables, and sweep up after meals.

  • Artemis’ Garden Team is providing childcare during workshops so that parents may be fully present during class time.

  • Teacher Support will help teachers as they set up their workshops. Work Traders filling this role will split their time between Teacher Support and Kitchen Team.

RECIPROCITY: In exchange for your work at the gathering, we are offering half-off the "At Cost" ticket option. While this role comes with hard work, it’s also really fun to be a part of the inside team of women making this weekend so magical. We hope our work traders will have a rich experience of bonding, collaboration, and pride in being a part of creating the Gaia Gathering. If you’re interested in taking part, please fill out the application below.
